About St. Jude

Tri Delta and St Jude:
Since 1999, Tri Delta has officially supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee as its national philanthropy.

St. Jude is a one of a kind place where children with catastrophic diseases can receive treatment at no cost to them at all. St. Jude even pays for their families to have a place to stay while their child is a patient at the hospital.

Not only does St. Jude provide top of the line care, but they also devote much of their time to cancer research. St. Jude freely shares all of their findings and even publishes a report every 17 hours.

In 1962, when the hospital opened, the survival rate for the most common childhood form of Cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) was 4%. Today, it is 94% thanks to St. Jude.

Sincerely Yours Letter Writing Campaign:
Our spring fundraiser for St. Jude is the Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign. During this time, each member of our chapter writes 50 letters to friends and family asking for donations to St. Jude. Since the spring of 2009, our letters have already raised $54, 530!
